Construction
The PLP assault door has become the UK industry standard aimed at providing the driver with a level of protection at affordable prices and with the ability to bespoke the design configuration to suit individual needs.

Modular in construction, the door can have either a sliding pane (lifting, dropping or rotating) or a fully fixed panel without the option of opening.

Where heavy 9.5mm laminated glass is required the opening pane is attached to balances located within the framework providing assistance to the user.

For the high end application, the sliding panel variant can be powered via pneumatics, thus being button operated from the driver console or any other convenient location within the cab area.
