Features
Both internal and external doors often have the need for a droplight window that is manual in operation and with an optional balancing mechanism depending upon the weight of the sliding pane.

Non balanced droplights require catches to provide a positive lock in the closed position and often in multiple open positions eg. minimal ventilation, half open, fully open. In this case purpose designed catches are employed for easy operation using hard wearing materials to provide a long and durable life.

In the event of a balance being required then the PLP 10V Balance, either two or three diamond configuration depending upon available space, can be utilised thus enabling a single handed opening operation.

Due to the slimline overall dimensions of the 10V balance it is ideal for installation between interior and exterior door skins.

The 10V balance is in operation on railways throughout the world such is its longevity of life and its ability to be easily maintained.

The 10V balance and droplight window assembly include side felt lined channels to assist the easy slide operation, weathering rubber and interfacing top locking handle plus a bottom drain trough and side drain channels to collect any water ingress for discharge to the exterior of the vehicle.
