Percy Lane Products has the necessary experience through supplying multiple contracts to provide a multitude of windscreen frame glazing arrangements to suit the maintenance regime of every train builder/operator.

Aluminium windscreen frames can be designed and manufactured with mitred or radius corners and either flat, curved or shaped due to the modern manufacturing equipment and engineering capability at Percy Lane Products.

We can supply either the windscreen frame as a standalone product or the complete assembly including the glass if preferred. Suitably approved high impact glass manufacturers are used by PLP to ensure conformance to the required technical standards.

Below are three examples of windscreen frame designs interfacing with the glass unit to provide a choice of maintenance considerations e.g. bonded glass or gasket glazed that can be removed without taking the whole of the windscreen frame away from the vehicle body.
